Hello I’m Philip

I’m a wedding photographer who loves capturing all the small moments in life.

My passion for photography started long before I ever picked up a camera. I’ve always loved how a single image can hold so much emotion and meaning. Every time I take a photo, my goal is to capture more than just how things looked—I want to preserve how it felt. The joy, the love, the quiet in-between moments you’ll look back on for years to come. Photography isn’t just my job; it’s the way I tell stories and freeze moments that matter most.

MY STORY

I wasn’t always a photographer, but I always knew I wanted to connect with people through art.

Imagination has always been my closest companion. Long before I ever considered photography as a career, I knew I wanted to create—to tell stories that people could feel. As a kid, I was always taking pictures or making movies, drawn to the idea that moments could be captured and remembered. Throughout high school, I took every opportunity I could to grab a camera—even when that camera was just an iPhone—and create something meaningful. I didn’t just want to document moments; I wanted to make things people would love, things that made them feel seen. After high school, I was given the opportunity to film my very first wedding. From the moment the day began, I was hooked. The ceremony, the quiet in-between moments, the laughter, the final details—I wanted to capture all of it. Weddings felt sacred to me, and I quickly realized how powerful it was to preserve such an important day in someone’s life. Word began to spread within my church, and before I knew it, I was filming weddings for couples who trusted me with their stories.

After a handful of weddings, a close friend—who is also a photographer—asked if I would second shoot a wedding with her. That day changed everything. It was then that I discovered a new canvas for my storytelling: wedding photography. The idea of freezing fleeting, intimate moments in a single frame resonated deeply with me. Pressing the shutter button felt just as natural as hitting record, and all the skills I had developed through years of videography found their home in photography. Through it all, God has been incredibly faithful. He has provided me with wonderful clients, meaningful opportunities, and the ability to live out my dream as a full-time photographer while continuing to serve at my church. I don’t take that lightly. I love photographing weddings—truly, they are my favorite days. They’re full of joy, emotion, and purpose, and I’m honored every time a couple invites me into one of the most meaningful days of their lives.
